The Cavemen teamed up with Gambian-British rapper Pa Salieu for the song “Gatekeepers” released as part of their “Love and Roots” album. This track is a powerful blend of highlife tradition and modern Afro-fusion that speaks to something real, african resilience and breaking through systems that hold people back.

The Cavemen produced the track themselves, bringing their  classic sound that feels both vintage and fresh.

Pa Salieu adds his gritty rap delivery, creating a contrast that somehow works perfectly. Together, they’ve crafted a conscious anthem about pride, empowerment, and challenging the barriers that limit progress.
